when a gap forms up or down. majority of time it fills within the next 3 days. if not it goes in time. by saying that it means can take weeks, months , years to fill, but i have found if a share puts in a lot of gaps it doesn’t give a good base for price stability.
something for you to watch and if you are charting to mark on your chart for further reference. . as it can be a good time to enter or top if if inclined if you have missed the market.
