ASX, ASIC, APRA, AG, Financial Planning Association etc simply don't have the resources for this level of regulation. The biggest deception, misrepresentation is when such organisations try to make their 'consumers' believe they can. And from what I've read on this frorum, some of you are believers.
An efficient financial system requires a level of ETHICS. Otherwise we just get tons of legislation and regulations. And I mean literally, TONS of the stuff. There's been an absolute EXPLOSION of it over the last generation.
