The story was first published in the Sunday Mail (from Lord Voldemort’s stable of rags) and it was there that the use of BTM was reported. But as is typical of the poor journalism across that stable, where fact checking is seen as a dispensable option (why let facts get in the road of a good story), they got it wrong in saying that Professor Roy Kimble was the only surgeon in Queensland with the ability to use BTM.

This morning, David Williams has circulated the Sunday Mail news item and corrected that bit of misinformation with this introductory statement:

”Professor Kimble was one of the first to use BTM but there are now 14 hospitals using it in Queensland.”
