Fes, I must admit I couldn’t find the story about the injured baby by using the link provided, but while I was searching for it, I came across another article published in the Daily Mail almost a year ago.
The article was about a 13 year old boy who sustained horrific injuries in May 2022 after a container of flammable liquid he was playing with caught fire.
Suffering from severe burns across almost 60% of his body, Oliver was rushed to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital where he underwent 13 hours of emergency surgery and multiple follow-up surgeries.

Sam McNally, consultant burn surgeon, worked with Oliver and his family at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and described them as amazing, adding: 'In Oliver's case we used BTM as his burns were so deep and extensive, it's a relatively new and expensive technology and there is great hope it will become the 'holy grail' of burns treatments.
'He was one of the first patients we used BTM on and his recovery has been an interesting insight into how this technology may help others. His progress since he came to us has blown me away, we don't consider ourselves to have fully treated a patient until they are back to getting on with their lives and it makes me so happy to see him at that point….
'His chest and back were the only parts of his body they could take skin grafts from, everything from his elbows down was completely burnt’.
Oliver’s mother also commented that
“His skin has healed much quicker than predicted which has amazed his doctors, he is years ahead of where he was expected to be’.
