Even if hernia sales are still a year away - Those 7 salespeople would have worn the vinyl out in many a corridor during that time. Their combined salaries for the year would be 1 mil at most. That would come home to mamma in the first week due to their leadup work.
Same goes for Europe. There will be a sheath of pre orders sitting on the desk of the UK Manager waiting for the (imminent) CE Approval.
