derived cellular elements, there is no risk of infection transmission compared to existing
dermal matrices such as Integra (Life Sciences Corp, New Jersey, US) and Matriderm
(MedSkin solutions, Billerbeck, Germany) which contain animal products. This would also
make BTM the preferred dermal template for patients with personal or religious beliefs
relating to the use of materials containing human or animal products."
