I would suggest this pertains to using dermal matrices over more traditional surgical methods and not relating to synthetic vs non-synthetic costs debate. We already know this product is significantly cheaper than biologicals, I think they want larger multi-centre trials investigating cost-benefit ratios regarding synthetic use vs traditional methods which is commonplace for adopting a new product as status quo.
