Integra, has a shelf life of 2 years. AFAIK, so does Polynovo's BTM and almost all medical products that have been sterilised and sealed in light proof packing and probably won't deteriorate. Many drugs are similar, so is canned food. Even if it would still most likely be fine in 20 years if stored in cool, dry conditions, the health and safety brigade and regulators have made manufacturers scared to put a longer shelf life or best before date on their products.
And really manufacturers don't mind if customers toss out very expensive but rarely used items and order new stock...
