It's very reassuring. It's easy to look at the profile of BTM and say it resists infection, so it's better than Integra or competitors products. It's quite another to be responsible for someone who's life hangs in the balance and make a call to take a calculated risk and leave the BTM in place and cautiously wait to see if it heals or or gets infected underneath...
These guys were braver than the previous case reports, and it DID work without pulling it off like with Integra. So I think PNV investors can perhaps be a bit more confident in the product, and in the company's future.
