@onway8 You are right to suggest that big money is a factor. Also, at present, there's actually little value in comparing GAL and POD projects or resources. GAL has 3 discovery holes. No resource. GAL market cap is based on fresh blue sky speculation in what may be. Conversely the Parks Reef POD discovery is very obscure and some decades ago.

I think the few points below describe the difference in SP pretty well:

* Mark Creasy ownership, premium and free promotion

* market can do all sorts of irrational things unsupported by fundamentals or value. "In the short term the stock market behaves like a voting machine, but in the long term it acts as a weighing machine"

* If you refer to the lassonde curve then SP will always be at a peak at "discovery". This is where the stock is very exciting and punters are keen to throw there money away for a gamble. In the mid-term it would be quite normal and expected for GAL SP to decline and shrink even if good drill results continue.

* IGO has 8% ownership in GAL. So there's a player with deep pockets ready to buyout GAL if good drill results continue.

Both POD and GAL have years of drilling and feasibility to undertake (as well as shareholder dilution). The difference is that POD has already a "massive" 1km+ deep, 15m wide and 15km long proven mineral system. It also appears that it is very minable (although no scoping has been released yet). While GAL has just three holes hinting at a possible mineral system of unknown scale.
