About a month I ago I thought there would be a PL 5
Now I think they will continue to test and fine tune and re-jig existing MB chip to get what end users want
I don't think they need another platform lot any more after what Ive heard from David. I think they need to find out what potential suitors want and have the ability to dial that into the chip in future iterations by the suitor at their own fab, at their expense, and to their specifications.
So I read it to be that their brief has been fulfilled - now it is up to the potential buyers to buy the tech and do what they want with it at their own fab.
They already have achieved what they set out to - create a megabit chip that works on other fabs - that was stressed again today by David - and that the results of this megabit array were way beyond expectations
