Your concept of PRU only producing 35,801 ozs Gold for the Dec 2011 quarter is taking into consideration that this was the Commissioning of the Edikan Mine? What did you expect the Company's production to be during this period?
How does market cap "price in" a production target and what effect does outside influence have on such a Market Cap? You do realise that Market Cap is simply the Number of Shares on issue X the SP = MC - to my mind, a rather dubious indicator of a Companies Development.
Do you ever look at stochastics, Moving Averages and Bollinger bands as indicators for the stock being Oversold or Overbought?
However, I do support your "sit and watch" stance, especially if you are conservative in your views of The Gold stock Sector and Perseus in particular - Personally, I will take every advantage of the Current "oversold" situation in which PRU is placed.
