The rising gold price should mean that some of the production could be hedged at an attractive rate meaning less risk for the banks. As the gold price rises and the aussie depreciates we must surely be moving closer to success. Would a gold price of AUS$1,600 be enough or are banks still wary over the gold smashing earlier this year?
