looks like those "doomsdayers" shorting USD and pushing Euro ("because its boom time there and the USA is on the verge of collpase") and buying gold just got nailed by ECB cutting rates ("because of deflation and things not being that great"),,,and caught by USA GDP that was supposed to collapse.....that short covering rally in the USD/ EUR wont finish in one session imo
Of course the number was meaningless because of the inventories, doom found in every number....
I love all the taper noise,,,,,,,funny how gold peaked in Nov 2011 and the current bond buying program pf 85BLN came after that,,,and Gold has continued to fall the entire time,,,,why is the continuing program somehow going to be different now?
