BTC will not be money in the future. Its simply a digital asset, whose sole purpose is to store and move/transfer value anonymously and without any restrictions whatsoever.

I'm no expert, but personally I am 100% certain blockchain (aka 'cyrpto') will revolutionize the way individuals and institutions transact with and trust one another. We are still in very early days. Put it this way, bitcoin is to blockchain as email is/was to the internet. Back in the early 90's I bet none of the early adopters of email ever imagined one day they would also use the internet on a device in their pockets to pay taxes, bank, watch movies, buy financial assets, engage in social media, ect ect ect. Just wait 20 years, blockchain (crypto) will literally be behind everything - personally, I do hope we see more decentralized blockchain developed than centralized private or government controlled blockchains.

Governments can and probably will make it difficult to buy and sell BTC with their own currency they print (this will become especially true when they come out with their own digital currency that they can track and control), but BTC is digital and it is decentralized. You cant make owning it illegal nor shut it down - its literally impossible. There is no off button.
