Financial markets are worried about inflation but it's worth remembering Gold has historically been an excellent hedge against inflation, because its price tends to rise when the cost of living increases. Over the past 50 years investors have seen gold prices soar and the stock market plunge during high-inflation years. Crypto does not offer the same comfort because of it's extreme volatility. Crypto has never ridden a high inflation market- it could see it's death, whereas Gold has always been a safe haven that countries and investors flock to in their masses - so a good time to exploring and starting up a mine for Gold going forward - if market fears prove correct
