I know little of technical analysis but am always keen to learn. It's obvious that I approach investment from a different and longer term perspective but I'm also interested in informed opinion of all types and from different angles.

So I am very interested to know your opinion on what has been happening over the past 12 weeks, and why.

My observation is that posters here are not unquestioning - in fact a certain unexplained statement on Friday was immediately pounced upon by a couple of posters who requested elaboration. If that statement was then accepted by other posters, it was because it was then backed up with a plausible explanation.

I think you'd find that if you explained a little more the reasons for your opinion, clarifying why that certain statement is implausible, there would be posters who would move to your point of view.

That's what debate is all about, "slaggers" notwithstanding.
