Total worldwide rare earth demand is 136,000 tons per year and projected to rise to 185,000 tons by 2015.

China,Japan and America are the biggest consumers with China using almost 70% of it.

India already exporting rare earth. Molycorp can produce up to 40,000 tons per year, Japan just recently open their rare earth plant this month.Russia is in it too,so does brazil,Taiwan and other few countries. Molycorp operated and running at lost on the last quarter this year.

Holy cow!! from the research i've done i strongly suggest Lynas start producing as soon as possible...drag too long and by the time they fireup those kiln,rare earth would be in excess supply and nobody wants it anymore IMO!!
