It's a software cloud-based technology business that has near-negligible costs of production.

Market capitalisation was ~AU$20M. Cheap, but only if you could see what might be coming.

There were early signs that 3DP's rapid growth in ACV would allow them to reach breakeven.

The below graph has been roughly edited to show you what the market saw before Bevan:





ACV used to be reported in AU$, didn't need a US$ to AU$ conversion, so may be slightly off.

Those trendlines would need to be slightly altered as well, but the story is still much the same.

Rapidly increasing ACV, but business costs stayed low and only modestly increased over time.

The months-long lag between ACV and cash receipts would have likely scared off some.

The real winner was the consistency in their reported ACV's growth. A reliable growth story.

All I needed to do (and still continue to do) is to ensure that growth remains right on track.

What I needed to see was reliably increasing product demand (as was shown by the ACV).

New customers kept onboarding, and the current customers kept agreeing to pay more!

Large increases in their reported Annual Contract Value, but managed to control expenses.

Cash receipts seemed to be a slight worry, but not when you understood the timing issue.

The valuation has grown leaps and bounds since, but so has their ACV and cash receipts!



It's a rapid-growth story of a global technology company that's a market darling in the making!
