Tough old game this investing caper.....and just to illustrate:
I spoke to two firms that cover it last week in addition to the company (at least the rep at the QLD office).
Only one of the brokers would speak to me as I wasn't a client and I can tell you that he didn't see this coming, judging by the forecast he gave me. Nice bloke, incidentally.
The company man wouldn't comment on any forecasts I read to him, which is to be expected, and lacking ESP I failed to pick up any sign something was wrong.
Not sure what else I could have done. I was trying to get those forecasts from Comsec confirmed. Clearly they are wrong.
Hope it plummets to 10 cents. Would happily buy back in down there.
