Is there really any point to have a discussion with religous...

Is there really any point to have a discussion with religous people on HC??? Its a belief they have and no logical scientific arguement will move them. They see no need to prove the existance of god/gods.

Just read a Richard Dawkins book and it makes perfect sense. Get a religous person to read it and they will dismiss it out of hand.

I'm quite happy for them if it makes them feel OK about the world. its when religous inspired politicans make laws , or culture/traditions impact on my lifestyle. Imagine being told u can't work on Sunday? Lets not even get started on Islam ... i will be moderated right off the website.
