People are fundamentally good I think, and through forums like this the internet will level the playing field. As for Atheism being the belief that things happen randomly,, well, what is random? Might appear random, but maybe we just don’t know the cause and effect of why things happen. God is a poor substitute for knowledge. God is also a sinkhole for people who would otherwise stick their heads in the sand. The fact that the world is largely religious, appears to be indicative of the fact that people prefer the security of the afterlife. That we are “special” and here for a reason. It’s a little vein if you ask me. But,, new religions pop up all the time. Gluttons for punishment! What’s the answer? I haven’t got a clue. The real miracle is how nature works. Discovery versus the security of .. God did it! Take your pick.
