The board would have to be pretty incompetent if they couldn't arrange debt finance in time. I wouldn't worry about the auditors report, just stating the obvious. Without the ERM transaction there was no money and the 2.1m or whatever ERM debt to still pay. We got 6 months, plenty of time, especially since RGN-1 results aren't even known yet.
