I think it should have said-

"As outlined in material previously provided, the proposed share consolidation will benefit all shareholders by reducing the bid-ask spread, REDUCING SHARE PRICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thereby increasing Empire's appeal to a wider range of investors"
