IMO it is most definitely the poison pill in play. Management has always been very serious about not letting anyone take over this company. (Bilbar) Google Poison Pill and look under ?shark repellents? Obviously we as share holders are not privy to the details and workings of the pp.

I can only guess that this was EQN?S way of telling Rio to go away. Now what happens? A bidding war for Lunden? We may see a bigger drop in the SP if EQN get countered.??
Could Rio come in and take the whole lot as a premium? (I think not imo)

I am un phased by it all. EQN has the best management (imo) and will steer us through this.
I have always said that we won?t get bought out and this play is why. In saying this I couldn?t really care either way with what I paid for the stock.

I think this is a perfectly normal and predicted reaction in the SP.

Most agree that we have at least a couple of years of strong copper price so in the medium to long term we will be fine

What is playing out now (imo) is what is meant to play out?.And I am going to top up if we counter bid for Lunden!
