But we are discussing politics spyaladin. It does not really matter whose policies are the most sensible, not that there is much difference between the major parties in Australia anyway. In politics what matters most is winning elections. You can have the best policy but unless you can convince a majority to vote for you then having that policy is just a waste of time. In a democracy the majority rule and we all need to accept that and get along the best we can under whoever is currently in government. It is no good whinging and whining that the electorate made a bad choice, they chose and that is that. Live with it. Dave R.
