The Opposition warrants attention because they are are about two things, firstly keeping the government accountable and secondly promoting their qualifications as an alternative government. I am dismayed at the failure of the Opposition to start doing the remedial work necessary to restore the coalitions fortunes. I know its not an easy task given the divisions that have been publicised. I want the Opposition to be more effective. It is good for the system of governance in Australia.
