Dart and AJ Lucas management and shareholders should take notice of what is happening in Poland .
Poland have a number of very active juniors which are actually drilling and frac'ing wells .
3Legs and San Leon(explorers set up specifically for Euro shale) , BNK(a producer in the US) , Wisent (William Marble's company).
In contrast , how many wells will be drilled in the UK during 2014 and of those will any be frac'd ?
I'm no longer excited by farm ins to household name majors .
Now a farm out to a US shale leader like EOG resources or a Continental would be a different matter .
What the UK needs is people who will drill and frac a few wells and prove this thing works .
We had a British Geological Survey chappy saying the UK was too crowded for a large scale shale industry . With his decent salary and safe pension it makes little difference to him whether shale goes ahead or not .
The engineers know the challenges and need to be let loose to show what they can do .
