    Regarding that story. A couple of points. Early spring, bears just out of hibernation. Very hungry. Bears will eat anything they stumble across. They wait beside holes in the ice for surfacing seals/young walrus, this time it was a dolphin.

    Polar Bears have been shown to be doing fine. The latest research shows there numbers have recovered since they stopped shooting them. The other main point was there was a lot more bears then they realised. They just couldn't accurately monitor them. It was mostly a beatup. Also, a relative of the brown bear, they happily live on land and eat anything they can find. They don't really need ice.
    From memory a Susan Crockford exposed the truth about the whole issue. Naturally the greenies hate her.
