    You're right. The Milankovitch cycles do account for the natural cycle of Ice Ages and Interglacial periods.

    My question to you is this :

    Given that the Milankovitch cycles are determined by the various movements of the Earth in relation to the sun, are known to a high degree of accuracy (more accurate than our knowledge of Hayley's comet) and are known to be responsible for the large periodic variations in Earth's climate then do you really think that the vast majority of our planet's scientific experts have simply not taken the Milankovitch cycles into account in their research ?

    Is it possible that the natural variation caused by the Milankovitch cycles is being used as a baseline ? Surely not, scientists wouldn't be that clever, would they ?
