I've said all along that I believe the gold sale is holding up the Polar transaction. It's unfortunate but probably understandable that current economic conditions are making it difficult for the gold buyer to source funding, however announcements from the company have always mentioned "multiple offers" being received so I hope that at some point they move on to the next bidder with funding available before the offers expire.
They really need to make something happen here to restore credibility and confidence.
