@Devilmaycare; IMO what's rancid and stinks a lot includes what I regard as Australia's anti-female and anti-battlers judicial and policing systems.

We've systems that deliver outcomes based on personal wealth, access to 'connected people' and the prejudices of what are essentially males from another era. We even taser and kill frail 95 year old women who need walking frames to get around.

We've just experienced what happens to 'battlers' who don't really owe Centrelink a $Brass $Razoo and yet no-one's been fined or incarcerated. We've data informing us that another 38 women are already dead this year due to domestic violence and we all know that the accused have the presumption of innocence and the right to keep their mouths shut before out Colonial Era male-sympathetic legal system.

Then we've the awarding of 'Legal Aid' to a former PM whose Coalition governments slashed and burned legal aid for battlers.

IMO we've lost the plot!
