What I find hard to understand, is why this story is only being reported now. If it is a clear case of "police brutality", I would have thought a person of her standing and intelligence, without fear of reprisals, would know the required steps to take to officially report this. If it was a patient of the said doctor, I would guarantee she would have accessed the correct channels to make this incident documented and followed through. Why didn't the doctor raise this "drawn out process" earlier?

As for the officers being "stood down" or transferred to others duties, I would think that is due course, pending any official or internal investigation. I am certainly not saying one is right or wrong here but it just seems there maybe more to this story than we know......
