The truth is humans will always be fascinated and attracted to mind altering substances. It is as if they want to escape from this physical reality. Enter a world where their past doesn't stress them so much..... puff
It is clear to me that all drugs (alcohol and most prescription medication included) will do you harm in almost all aspects of your health, mental and physical. Yet 30% of western population is on some sort of daily drugs habit/addiction (legal or illegal).
We are encouraged to go to the doctor and be handed out prescription medication. Big pharma loves this and works hard to keep the dependence on these drugs going. They train their reps to sell these drugs to our doctors, many with incentives attached to them giving the GP's 'monthly targets' to aim for. Now this is all legal but it sends the wrong message on the topic of 'drugs' in general.
When I was 19 years old I was experiencing bad back pain. My GP prescribed two drugs - Tramal and Vioxx. He recommended to take them numerous times daily, morning noon and night. I decided to take less of them but still ended up with stomach ulcers which I later found was due to taking Vioxx. My doctor would never admit it and suggested I continue use but months later Vioxx was banned, proven to cause heart failure killing many unsuspecting people.
Drugs are bad full stop. Natural living is the only way to true happiness.
