In Qld there has been a little bit of news up North Qld way re police getting caught for drink driving off duty and on.
I can tell you this is a serious problem with police often having alcohol related problems because of stress and other reasons such as the police mateship/socalising scene, consorting with criminals etc etc..
Quite often they drink and drive but main offenders are Detectives. Should be compulsory B/testing for police drivers before and after duty but the union is against it.
I have many stories to elaborate on re the Gold Coast in particular over 20 yrs or so, numerous cover ups/ deaths etc. of police. Interesting if anyone wants to discuss this.
