hair spray does work but only on static speed cameras and red light cameras. Hand held radar guns do not take photo's only a reading of the speed, so the police need to stop you to issue you with the fine.
The story about the guy/girl getting done for not wearing a seatbelt by a stationary speed camera is rubbish....the camera only takes a photo from the rear of the vehicle as this is the only way it calculates the speed. red light cameras take from both ends, hence the pictures.
