I'm probably going to COP a lot of flack over this but here goes....

Firstly.. I too got a speeding ticket from a multinova while my daughter was rushed to hospital. But what can you do. The good thing was that Multinovas aren't in the WA country (only till about 100 kms out of Perth) as I was doing quite a bit over out of Perth. But got caught for doing only 10km over.

Secondly..Wa multinovas are not placed in wheelie bins. An urban myth.

Thirdly..Radar detectors are not illegal in WA, but they don't pick up multinovas until too late.

fourthly..Hair spray does work on multinovas and red light cameras, but getting caught with it on you number plate is worth $50.00 each time.

Fifth and last.. Drove around Perth the other day trying so hard not to speed. Can't afford to lose my licence. And the number of people flying past me was dreadful. They deserve to get caught.

I agree the multinova should not be set at 6 km over the limit but at least 12...

WA people should not say that multinovas are revenue raisers....WA has the cheapest fines in Australia and you do not lose your licence for going 30km over...

    Cheers.
