You can have collisions or crashes, which are caused by speeding, drink driving, using a phone, inexperience, lack of attention, stupidity or any combination of the above, or a host of other reasons.
Hilarious to watch a news presenter say, "The wet weather has caused a spate of accidents", wouldn't have anything to do with bald tyres, not slowing down or lack of experience driving in wet conditions?
As for cruise control, would have to be the most dangerous and unnecessary 'gadget' ever fitted to a motor vehicle.
