Some women are scary tough but they aren't exactly feminine or typical.

A condition of entry as a fireman used to be[maybe it still is?] the ability to carry an average person on your back for a set distance for obvious reasons. Not many women could carry a man I should imagine.

It wasn't a hostage situation. It was a situation where an early intervention could have saved a young girl's life that was being taken violently in a crowded place but that came too late and was compounded by the ambulance taking far too long, about 20min from memory. Thanks.
