I agree, these kids could become fantastic Aussie patriots if given half a chance, and some guidance and some resources to help them make their way.
When I was growing up it was the dagoes and wogs that copped (excuse the pun)it, and now everyone considers them to be any different from other Aussies.
The one great thing about Australia is that people do assimulate if given time and some help.
Police, local councils and government should be working hard to break down the barriers.
I think a lot of the authorities attitudes have been setup by the hardline attitude of the Liberal government.
