    i would suggest that it doesnt change anything unless you were to think labor was going to win the election 110% garruntied and also beleived it would be reinstated. i.e. the funding for that agency is already taken away. if it would impact us, it already has been factored into our sp because that defunding isnt (relatively) new news.

    However it may do well to remember that the green party often give their preferences to labor and on a condition of that come election time, certain policies must be implemented depending on what agenda the current green lineup has. Basically what i am suggestion (expressed explicitly as an opinion) is labor is able to hide some policy to save face against those against green energy within green party policy.i.e. they know they will have to implement a few policies but wont stick out their neck for them and later once no one is paying attention again, they slip some climate change issues through. im not suggesting they will do that this time with this particular fund, however i beleive it is something to keep in mind when reviewing labors "climate and energy" policies
