The best part of their mining industry is that their companies dislike competition in their immediate neighborhood and they would not hesitate to pay top dollar for coal assets such as Linc's PWD. Their top WIG20 coal companies such as JSW Jastrzebie or Bogdanka are said to have been on the look out to purchase good coal assets. Just to give you an example: KGHM Polska Miedz which is Europe's biggest copper and silver mining company has bought Canadian Quadra for 9 billion recently. Although Quadra's assets are not located in Poland but it gives an idea that their top mining companies are well cashed up and hungry for acquisitions.
