You only need to look at some of the people tweeting their support (#StandWithMaz and elsewhere) to know that Barnaby's accuser is highly regarded and supported in regional Australia.
As has been mentioned here, the timeline is clear. Barnaby denied all allegations of sexual harrassment, said anyone who said so was a liar and his supporter David Littleproud demanded on ABC radio that any critic put up or shut up. Barnaby's accuser did so. For some strange reason, some people seem to think that makes her actions suspicious.
As one of her colleagues posted, "Maz" is not a victim. Most women who work in the agriculture industry have had bad experiences with men who should know better. She did, but moved on. Then Barnaby and Littleproud decided to try bully the women who have allegedly had some pretty shoddy treatment from Barnaby.
She followed due legal process, making a confidential complaint to the Nats and giving them a chance to hear her story about their representative.
A couple of days later her name has been leaked and Nationals trolls are targeting her.
