As for the investigation into the allegations against her - ALP saying nothing to see here all is OK - isn't it akin to Dracula auditing The Blood Bank?
Oh and big deal she is not going to recontest at the next election - her prospects wouldn't have been good anyway.
So she continues to have both hands in the taxpayers pocket until the next election with the ALP's blessing after which she will get some well paid meaningless position in the ALP or its affiliates.

For the wrong reasons YES
The real reason she had to go was because she is an opportunistic self interested individual without empathy for the community she was supposed to represent.
