Hi C_s, here's another insidious scourge: Anyone wondering what hit them, when, at every turn, people with not much real knowledge of anything, often lacking even basic education, are invited by every TV show, every Radio station, to text in their 'opinions' on subjects that, frankly, who cares what they think? This is one of the great perversions of modern communications. Empowerment of the people (?) do me a favour, please. The only people they are kidding are themselves; OK, it's all done in the name of entertainment, but people are starting to believe their own publicity, and that is dangerous. It will end in tears, I think.
