Same sort of stuff happened with the Vietnamese in the '80s, the Italians and Greeks in the '60s and '70s, and pretty much every large migrant intake. Some turn to crime early on, then they find their way in their new country and it all calms down.
Pretty soon some of the suspect migrants will become right wing politicians and bloggers and run scare campaigns against newer migrants, telling them to go back to where they came from. It's a strange cycle that continually repeats.
