    Yes. but things are different these days with social media and mobile phones.
    The gang fight would involve larger numbers of people than they used to.

    When I was a lad we used to participate in public brawls involving rival public schools. It was something that was communicated by word of mouth, usually in reaction to a group of students from one school picking on a student from the other school.
    On other occasions it would wogs against anglos.
