    I accept the reasoning you've applied here, yet in keeping with free speech and the terms of use laid out by HC, theres no enforced distinction between foreign politics and Aus politics.

    clearly the HC "Politics Debate" doesn't specify "Aus Only".

    the real fact is that international politics affect Aus politics profoundly. just consider as an example, AUKUS. How can we discuss the Morrison deal on a strictly Aus basis? Same point with China and their economy, same with countries from which asylum seekers escape. Same with the Israel/Gaza war as much as the Russia/Ukraine war.

    don't you see that we are an integral part of the world and as such are not isolated?
