imo the political ideologies need to be removed along with the parties. its what is so damaging to our national economics and community cohesion.
its divisive and destructive.
a House filled with independent members, however they are voted in, would need consider all proposals on the true merits and flaws rather than merely 'along party lines'. of course debates might take longer but there would no longer be deliberate stalling for political reasons.
