Look, whilst it is fun to denigrate the poorly educated country cousins who until 1974ish held power in our electoral system, the discussion of politics in its broader sense is welcomed here.

I mean have we not seen the complete changes in our lifetimes from decrying Medicare (orig Medibank) as a socialist plot to destroy our thriving nation by the then young John Howard, to him finally admitting that maybe, just maybe, the universal healthcare was a good idea??
